Deleting spammers: not the funnest part of my job, but someone's got to do it right? It's not a dirty job either, so I can't really quote (pre Mike Patton) Faith No More. But I think you get the point. At some point, someone decided to start spamming people on the Internet. Who knows when this happened? Some asshole olympian snowboarder made a fortune doing it. Sadly, two factors go into making spam work. The first factor is some shady ass company that doesn't care about its product or its customers. All it cares about are numbers.

Think about it this way, if you're buying watches, cock pills, or a wedding dress from a company that doesn't have the decency to utilize traditional advertising methods (no matter how underhanded those are) what makes you think their production, delivery or customer support are going to be of any better quality?
